Two great minivans compete for your attention in the city of Virginia, MN. The first is the 2025 Chrysler Pacifica and the second is the 2025 Toyota Sienna. However, one is genuinely the better option for your family and this helpful guide from Waschke Family CDJR will help you decide which is which. Interior
Between the two models, the interior of the Pacifica is upholstered with standard leatherette for easy cleaning and maintenance. On the other hand, the Sienna only features cloth seats as standard with SofTex® being an upgrade. Both models feature available integrated vacuums for the convenience of its operator after a long day of picnics at Olcott Park. The available dual-pane sunroof on the Chrysler model is also much larger and lets in far more healthy natural sunlight than the available one-touch powered moonroof on the Toyota model. A full 165.0 cubic ft. of passenger volume is featured when you choose the Pacifica, which includes the space taken up by the sunroof. However, on the Sienna, the cabin is less spacious and the sunroof option slims down the passenger volume to 159.7 cubic ft.
Technology
The rear entertainment system in the 2025 Chrysler Pacifica features two available 10.1-inch touchscreens for convenience of both of the second-row passengers. However, the Sienna has only a single available 11.6-inch touchscreen, which has to be shared between its occupants. In the case of the Chrysler model, it has Amazon Fire TV Built-In1 available to the entertainment system. On the other hand, the Toyota Sienna has no such option. Additionally, in the Pacifica, you gain access to the available FamCam™2, which allows you to easily check on your little ones in the back rows. There are 20 available speakers in the Pacifica’s Harman Kardon®3 Premium Audio System to create an immersive soundscape. There’s even a 10-inch subwoofer to enhance the experience on your drive down to Easter Lake Park. Unfortunately for the Sienna, it only has a maximum of 12 available speakers, with eight being the standard.
Performance
A 3.6L V6 engine awaits you in the Pacifica, which outputs an impressive 287 horsepower. This is contrasted by the less powerful 2.5L 4-cylinder hybrid engine on the Sienna, which only achieves 245 net combined horsepower. Both models have AWD available to increase traction when driving down Highway 53 whenever it begins to rain or snow. For those times when you want to take a camper or trailer, the Pacifica offers a slightly better 3,600-lb. maximum towing capacity4, compared to the 3,500-lb. towing capacity5 offered by the Sienna. One of the few areas where the Sienna does better than the Pacifica is in fuel economy, getting an estimated 36/36/36 MPG city/hwy/combined7 using its hybrid engine.
